Problem with headphone socket on TC1100/Windows 7
Recently it was brought to my attention that even though I've got my headphones in the socket of my TC1100, the sound continues out of the speakers (good job I wasn't watching anything dodgy..). My first thoughts were that it's a problem with the socket hardware but it does seem to have coincided with the install of Windows 7 beta. I've tried to look for a setting but have found nothing. Can someone with W7 try their headphones and see if they get the same effect? Or can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks

I'm running Windows 7 on my TC1100 and prefer it over XP or Vista. I just "updated" my audio driver to the one suggested in the above wiki article and it works fine. I was not able to get it to install using the author's preferred method but was able to install it using compatibility mode.
