Default N-trig Posts WinTAB Support Driver

For those who have been waiting, the N-trig WinTAB support driver has just been posted on N-trig's Support page:

http://www.n-trig.com/Content.aspx?Page=Bulletin_Board (Look about 1/3rd of the way down the page...)

It appears to be an archive file (.rar) and it's only about 1.5 MB...

UPDATE: I've asked N-trig what you're supposed to do with this file. Hopefully, they'll post some instructions (or something...)...

N-trig's response: Just unpack it – there’s an installation PDF and setup.exe file inside it

You can use WinRAR to unpack the file. You can also use other utilities; see (among other places): http://codeguys.rpc1.org/rar.html . I used 7-Zip, a free utility; it worked fine.

The installation PDF doesn't mention target platforms (XT, XT2, tx2) or target drivers; just that this update is only applicable to Win7 32-bit. Known issues are as follows:

    1. Automatic pressure calibration does not work in Corel painter 11.
    2. In Adobe PS CS5, there is a delay between pressing the stylus (hard) on the screen and the appearance of the ink.
    3. When using the eraser in FlipBook, an error sound is heard.
    4. In Adobe PS CS5, in order to select a tool from the flyout, you need to double click in a tool slot.
