The new cross tablet PC pen can now be ordered. They only have the capless one for sale right now. The capped one must of been put on hold. You can order one at www.cross.com

Yep. The pen that gateway includes sucks. It really hurts my hand. I will probably end up buying a couple of the cross pens overtime anyway so I will just buy a capped one later.

I'll be interested in your feedback. It looks cool in the ad. Do you think it will fit in the pen slot on the Gateway??

Well I have been playing with the pen for a couple days. I like it. It is heavier and it is a little thicker. It doesn't fit into the pen slot. I also really like the eraser. The tip is replaceable but I can't find where to order them online. The recessed button is cool but I still hit it every once in a while by mistake. It is definately more comfortable and works smoother. I would say it is worth the money, but if you want the capped I don't know when they come out. I will probably buy one later.

Bitter this question may sound stupid, but can you use both pens at the same time? Also do
you need to put in special drivers for the pen.

My son and I play dots with one using the Cross pen and the other using the standard Wacom pen. This works fine as long as only one pen is in range of the tablet when writing. It only sees one pen at a time. In other words, move your pen a couple of inches away from the tablet when it is not your turn to mark. This is on a Toshiba tablet. I assume the Gateway is similar.
