I use the wireless add on for Infocus projectors. It runs across 802.11. It works pretty well although there is a slight bit of lag if you are trying to present an application that requires moving around on the screen a bunch. If to are primarily presenting powerpoints though it works great.

Until the wireless software provided by the projectors improves its efficiency, the only way to be able to have real-time presentations (writing on the screen, video, etc.) is to connect it with another computer (Tablet).

    My setup is as follows.
    Motion M1300 - Viewer
    Fujitsu T3010D- Server
    Projector NEC LT260K

The Motion M1300 and the T3010D is connected Ad-Hoc w/ 802.11b using Ultr@vnc. I use the Fujitsu T3010D to serve the Presentation while the Motion M1300 allows me to circle, highlight, draw, grab websites, play video etc. in realtime. The LT260K has a pcmcia slot that will work with 802.11b, but it produces quite a bit of lag time thus unusable in the current software version. The T3010D is wired to the projector using a vga cable.

Like jefe, I use a second machine.

    A picture might help:

In that discussion I use a desktop computer as the vga "gateway". If there is no desktop machine in the picture, I use my second Tablet PC.

TC1000 runs ultr@vnc viewer (in listen mode, full screen, no toolbar, let server handle cursor)
    TC1100 runs ultr@vnc server

I have a couple of shortcuts on my TC1100 desktop to start / stop the connection to the other machine. This makes it easy to kill the connection, check email or anything else I prefer not to share, and the reconnect.

Hitchikr: Can the wireless add-on (I believe it's called light show?) allow us to switch laptops for multiple users? That is a feature I'm looking for.

Yes, the liteshow has a small piece of client software that allows you to select who is connecting to it or which projector for are connecting to if you have multiple ones setup.

There's a WiFi Toshiba data projector that worked like a dream for me in demonstrating the M-200 Tablet in an auditorium with a 300 person audience.

One-click and I was up, plus it displayed perfectly in Portrait mode which I haven't duplicated on any other projector since (wired included)

Recently tried using a HP that caused a kernel-dump right in the middle of my presentation (and once beforehand) and took forever to get connected each time.

I've been using the Epson PowerLite (735c) which we ordered with a wireless PCMCIA card. With the SW they provided it works like a champ with my M1400. It can do some interesting things like switch control between different wireless users in the room and/or a wired connection, pause the display (so you can work on your tablet on something other than the display without showing everyone), etc. I'm using it with security enabled and that seems to slow things down a little but only noticeable if you have fast dynamics. (It's also only a 802.11b, not g like my tablet I believe.) Even when I'm within reach of a cable connection it's so much nicer to work with the tablet leaning against the table or in my lap and not having to fool with connections.
