I have been trying to use the Compaq CD-RW/DVD drive (part number 294766-633) in an external multibay cradle with my TC1100. Several times now when I have changed the CD, the system has frozen and I have to power off to recover it. Has anyone else experienced this? I didn't see any driver updates on the HP web site. I also didn't see this behavior on a TC1000.

No problems here and I use the USB powered connection for the multibay if it makes a difference.

The problem actually seems more related to the base station than to the network. If we boot the machine out of the base station and load the software, it runs. If we have the machine in the base station, the software hangs.
