Well...missing out on the free upgrade to 2.0, and hearing all the great things about it, I bought it last night. I haven't used it much yet, but I will this weekend and I'm looking forward to be able to ink tasks, contacs and appointments. I guess I'll be purchasing 2.0 as well. I didn't want to wait the extra month for 2.0, and I'm sure I won't regret it.
Sure you want to do it this way? All you did was delay getting my money. I am a software vendor and our customers are encouraged to buy before a realease. Took a look at your website, and I see why your doing this, but why would you kill your revenue stream now? Anyway congrats on a successful startup.
I had second thoughts too. But since 2.0 is a completely rewritten product and is much more full-featured, it will be a little bit more expensive. By continuing to give free upgrades, I would kill even more revenue when I have to give 2.0 away to everyone.quote:Originally posted by Scott-TJ

There will be an upgrade price for 2.0 that will bring the total to about the same as what one would be paying for 2.0 alone.
Woohoo, an upgrade price. That's very fantastic news. You may want to include that on your site, it will encourage people who are waiting for 2.0 to get 1.1 now.
