I havn't experienced any blue screens in the 1 month that I have had the M200. Overall, the M200 has been very stable. Extremely happy with it.
How is everyone going with their M200?
Gotta say I love it, it's a nice piece of hardware.:D
But i am getting the occasional lock up... perhaps once every couple of days. Seems to be only when using the pen in tablet mode. Bit annoying when using Journal or similiar....the advantages of pen & paper i suppose - never have to reboot.[xx(]
Is anybody else having this trouble? I've reinstalled off my restore CD's and briefly installed and then removed the Wacom drivers (since they produce slow jagged ink).
I noticed twice that after leaving the pen resting on the screen in tablet mode for a while, that the machine had locked up.
I have also seen the blue screen on more rare occasions (probably once since reloading off the cd's a couple of weeks ago).
Is anybody else experiencing these problems (BTW - I have the 'Aussie' version of the M200 1.4Ghz, 1Gb RAM, 60 Gb HDD etc).

When a notebook/laptop/tablet locks up, how do you reset it? Unplugging from AC power won't do anything. Please don't tell me you have to remove the battery- that sounds kind of nasty.
I have not had my M200 lock up. My problem has been really, really slow start up. I have been using StartupCop to disable a bunch of stuff that came installed on the tablet so that these applications don't start during boot. Most of this stuff is from Toshiba. This allows my tablet to boot in less than three minutes. Has anyone else had trouble with Toshiba utilities?

To turn an ACPI-compliant, soft power switch computer off, any of them, you hold the softswitch down for a couple of seconds, and the machine powers down.
I haven't had any dramas with the Toshiba utilities. I also experience pretty quick startups, at least to the login screen stage. From there, loading my profile and using the system is normally fast but can be slower, depending on whether I'm on the network, standalone, on wireless, etc.
