Hi,
My wife bought the version with XP by mistake. I will trade you if no one helped you out.
Thanks.
Hi All,
Just got my T4215 from Fujitsu - nice machine! Only problem, my work only supports XP/TPC2005 OS and I have some s/w incompatibility issues with Vista which I can't get support for.
Anyone willing to trade their TPC2005 OS discs for their 4215 for my Vista Business ones? I'm desperate!!!
Thanks in advance!

I would also trade, if you have not found a set.
Thanks JonnyRingo & skifast, managed to talk Fujitsu into sending me the XP Tablet OS DVD's so all's good now!
Thanks again!
I would be interested in knowing how you got Fujitsu to send the disks as I have the exact same issue and their only "solution" is for me to send in the entire laptop to be replaced with one that has XP installed. That's crazy as I am perfectly willing to pay additionally for the XP OS.
I have a 40 GB hard drive with the XP installation on it. email me at fischermh@netzero.com if you are interested in it.
leighj,
I would also be interested in how you convinced Fujitsu to sell you the XP tablet disks (if it won't incriminate you of course). I'm willing to pay for the OEM software. To date, Vista on my T4215 has been a mixed blessing.
pssst... rasta51 & newst - I'm going to have to whisper this to you but I lucked out and one of my co-workers purchased a T4210 w/ the TabletPC OS - so with his permission, I called up Fujitsu and used his serial# to request a backup DVD for $30. They shipped it within a few days.
Obviously, if I ever sell this tablet, I would revert back to Vista to maintain the s/w license...
One question on that line of thought though... Do the replacement disks contain the same CD Key as the ones your friend has? If not that is a great ID, although I still wouldn't know anyone else who bought a 4215.... What a pain in the rear this is when we are perfectly legitimate customers.....
rasta51 - send me an email to discuss offline: ritz_camera at yahoo dot com
