I think you will find that this is for a PDA and not a tablet...the GPS needs to have a clear view of the sky to pick up the satellites. I use a pharos USB connected gps BUT with either DeLorme or MS mapping program. The Ostia mapping program that came with my gps was for PDA and you had to unzip and transfer the area you wanted to travel. A bother when going cross country. The pharos dash system...USB.. works well. The size is about half pack of cigarettes. If I were to buy a gps/mapping system today, I would buy the DeLorme Package, gps and street atlas, for $129 retail..on sale at times for $99
Because of the Ipaq screen, I must confess I use it more for mapping and the Ostia software gives voice directions as does DeLorme. As of this time Microsoft mapping program does not
