Wild Bill Does First Inking Oriented TabletPC EMR!
The system captures the pen strokes and stores them in a database as binary code. This information can then be retrieved from the database or used to analyze information within the chart. For example. If the physician uses the pen to check a box on the chart, the program knows what box by analyzing the position of the pen stroke and the binary code, and then stores it in the database. It replaces the natural process of filing out a chart, but then makes it digital for organization and retrieval. Doctors can produce queries and reports in seconds.
"WildBillSoftware, Inc. founded October 1, 2002 started in the garage by 2 programmers and a doctor practicing Emergency Medicine. Our goal was simple: to provide an EMR solution that was affordable, easy to use, fast and took advantage of the inking capabilities on a Tabletpc. The program is written in C#, net framework, XML and Microsoft SQL Server."
