Default I am having trouble getting my computer to recog

I am having trouble getting my computer to recognize a press and hold pen action. It seems that when my pen makes contact with the screen, the tip of the pen moves slightly. I'm assuming this is what's stopping by computer from recognizing my intended action. Is anyone else having problems executing this action? Has anyone found a solution to this "problem?"

You may want to try reducing the time delay to produce a right-click. This will give less time to unintentionally move the pen.
Under "Tablet and Pen Settings", Pen Settings tab, double click the "Press and hold". Then move the speed slider towards short.

I've already adjusted the right click mode activation option to the shortest setting. This of course makes it easier to execute the action, but it still gives me problems. For example, if I try to press and hold 20 times it only works about eight times. Are you getting similar results?

Have you tried using the side button method instead? I started out with press and hold, but I found that pressing the right button and tapping was faster and more intuitive, so I almost never use press and hold any more.

It's a good way of sidestepping your problem ....

Ditto on PatrickC's comment. Doing a single tap with the pen button held in is much more to my liking.

ditto, ditto on the side button/tap method, much easier, faster and consistent.
