Default as it has already been postet, the viewing angle

as it has already been postet, the viewing angle of the m200 display in portrait mode is far from being perfect...

What do you m200 users say about that? Do you have major difficulties reading ebooks when using the portégé in landscape mode? As it is quite heavy, it might to be so easy to hold it in a perfect position to read...

Well, I don't have a M200 and thus can't tell or give you such a live condition practicing answer...

...but from technical viewing angle measurement datas the following TabletPCs...

    - Acer C302

    Contrast: min. 256:1
    Contrast (enh. viewing field): 159:1
    Viewing angle vertical: +25°, -60°
    Viewing angle horizontal: +/- 40°
    Display luminance: 13...145 cd/m^2

    - Fujitsu-Siemens T3010

    Contrast: min. 259:1
    Contrast (enh. viewing field): 165:1
    Viewing angle vertical: +20°, -50°
    Viewing angle horizontal: +/- 45°
    Display luminance: 19...121 cd/m^2

    - Motion M-1300

    Contrast: min. 260:1
    Contrast (enh. viewing field): 162:1
    Viewing angle vertical: +25°, -50°
    Viewing angle horizontal: +/- 50°
    Display luminance: 24...117 cd/m^2

    - Panasonic Toughbook CF-18

    Contrast: min. 170:1
    Contrast (enh. viewing field): 119:1
    Viewing angle vertical: +25°, -50°
    Viewing angle horizontal: +/- 45°
    Display luminance: 6...254 cd/m^2

    - FIC SlateVision

    Contrast: min. 295:1
    Contrast (enh. viewing field): 190:1
    Viewing angle vertical: +30°, -45°
    Viewing angle horizontal: +/- 55°
    Display luminance: 4...86 cd/m^2

...have all nearly only the same viewing angles as the Toshiba and so no one of the above is here really better than the Toshiba. Just for comparision, the Toshiba had:

    - Toshiba M200

    Contrast: min. 144:1
    Contrast (enh. viewing field): 97:1
    Viewing angle vertical: +20°, -55°
    Viewing angle horizontal: +/- 45°
    Display luminance: 9...128 cd/m^2

Those TabletPCs with better viewing angles are only those here, which have smaller displays:

    - Acer C111

    Contrast: min. 548:1
    Contrast (enh. viewing field): 505:1
    Viewing angle vertical: +/- 80°
    Viewing angle horizontal: +/- 75°
    Display luminance: 6...92 cd/m^2

    - HP TC1100

    Contrast: min. 304:1
    Contrast (enh. viewing field): 277:1
    Viewing angle vertical: +/- 80°
    Viewing angle horizontal: +/- 70°
    Display luminance: 4...100 cd/m^2

    - Elitegroup EZ-30D

    Contrast: min. 611:1
    Contrast (enh. viewing field): 538:1
    Viewing angle vertical: +/- 55°
    Viewing angle horizontal: +/- 70°
    Display luminance: 23...108 cd/m^2
