I got mine today and have the same problem. In addition to it, it can not be powered on with the battery only. I start to worry about its quality.
Hi there,
I“ve just bought the Acer C302XMI and experienced that the pen functionality did“nt work at all. Reboots or any settings did“nt help, it simply did“nt react to the pen.
Everything else works fine in notebook mode with keyword.
Any ideas welcome!
cheers "M"

I would try to remove the driver from your tablet and then reinstall a new one downloaded from Acer -- it can be found by right-clicking My Computer | Properties | Hardware | Device Manager | Human Interface Devices | Wacom Serial Pen Tablet. It might also be found on your restoration disks. Good luck!
