How do you turn off the soft/virtual keyboard which appears on restart?
I am using Ctrl-Alt-Del and shut down the softkybd.exe in the process list!

Is this this the one that appears *before* you log in?quote:Originally posted by Andrew Wilcox

Yes it is the one that appears before login and then won't dissappear. No cross in the top right hand corner to close it.
So you enter your password and click enter and the keyboard does not disappear? If that is the case there is clearly something wrong as this should not happen.quote:Originally posted by Andrew Wilcox

Just tried logging in that way but the softkbd still remained open.
I have a related problem that my pen gives double clicks when I expect single ones. So using the softkbd with double letters being entered every time is not much use.
Something is messed up somewhere but where and how to fix it?
