Officially joined the elite, picked up my TC1100 :D, decided to bite the bullet and actually leave it under the tree unopened. Only a partial order, the docking station, multibay and DVD/CD drive will be in after the 27th (with a slight chance for today, but didn't want to face the last minute crowds)
Nothing says holidays like booting up a new system.
    xcanuck,
You get my vote for most self discipline. NO WAY I could get a new tablet and put it under the tree!! You know it's gonna spoil all the other presents don't you? No way to beat that as a present.
    Enjoy!

HoHoHo.. 2 words, "Totally Awesome" [8D]
Dealing with a steep learning curve of getting used to the tablet features as well as XP (Still currently using 95, 98 and 2000 on different systems)
Can't wait to get the other toys so I can start loading stuff in and officially connect it to my network.

One question, is there flip down cap for the cover of the USB and other ports, is there a way to make it removable or replacement ? (besides the screw) I plan on using the ports often, but a little scared of snapping it off by over use, but still prefer the protection of the cap.

Theres a couple of ideas, the protable hard drive i got is a 40 gig 2.5 with a slim aluminum case. i put it together myself . MUCH cheaper to do than those hard drives shown in that other link. its plug and play. and runs off the usb power, oops forgot to mention its usb2. a pendrive is nonsense by comparison. the other 2 things are my slim usb 2 hub, great for tc1100 users . 2 usb ports are just not enuff, and my 128mb mp3 player with mic and recording. I also got one of those eluminex led keyboards , real nice for late nights on the pc.

hehehe. well , maybe i should have said assembled instead of making. just buy the parts seperate and put it together yourself, get a standard 2.5 HD and order this http://www.emagictech.com.tw/fd2254-1.htm , assemble it, then follow the instructions on how to format the disc threw windows disk manager and you got yourself a nice little compact way of storing all your farscape episodes :P, and then some .

Happy New Year to you aswell
