fan runs on

I have updated the CMU and other drivers (e.g. NIC and wireless, video, etc)...and it seems the fan runs on more a lot more times (i.e. it is only silent when I am not touching TC1000!)...

is there something wrong?

In light of this, I am wary of installing windows XP SP2 on....should I be this wary?

I had SP2 installed an my old TC1000 with no issues whatsoever.

Yes, the fan will run a lot. The Crusoe processor has to work harder then an Intel to run SP2
