Default Everyone, I have a motion m1300 and a toshiba

    Everyone,

I have a motion m1300 and a toshiba e740 pocket pc. I do not like carring around my ppc and would like to get rid of it. I am a student and use one program on it still that I can not use on the tablet. That program is 4.0 student. Anyway this is the only reason I still carry around my PPC.

Ok so I need to know if there is anyone emulating a PPC out there. I have emulated one successfully using the PPC sdk emulation but I can not figure out how to save things that are changed. So what happens is everytime you close the emulator it goes back to the original settings.

Does anyone know how to make the above emulator to work or an emulator to use?

    Thanks in advance.

    Scott

I can tell you %99.9 there is no emulator available for ppc (the way you wanted). Yes, PPC SDK will emulate but it will only run Intel pentium (x386 etc....)code. This means that when you arite a new program using a programming language (exception will be visual stuido .NET 2003 with smart device extension) it will complie two different version one for the emulator the other one for the ppc. when you run the program under the ppc sdk emulator it will only run the appropirate desktop version. and when you upload the program to the ppc it will upload and run the ppc version.

The programs that you would purchase will only be the ppc version, not the desktop. there is no emulator (and most likly will not be, otherwise it would kill sales) that you can run ppc version of the compiled program on a desktop...

Most of the ppc functionaly can be reproduced on a tablet pc, expect the form factor...
