Hello all
Just got myself my first tablet, CT111, and overall very impressed. One question if anyone has experienced something like I am having...
Leave the machine on for a while (2 hours plus), in tablet mode, and when any metal part of the case touches sensitive skin (like forearm or leg), i get small electrical current tingling all the time...the same feeling as putting one of those small square batteries against your tongue with both of the connections, when it tingles.....(I'm not that wierd honest, but its the best way to explain it).
Has anyone else experienced something like this with their's, or do I have a rogue zapper one that is trying to electrocute me??
Thanks

hopefully buying a 10" tpc from acer soon
Hmmm, I am not familiar with that phenomenon but will certainly try to duplicate it. I should be able to bill for it.:Dquote:Originally posted by jryrie

Yes I have had the same but it only seems to happen if I am using another machine at the same time ie my old laptop which I use as my desktop PC.
Must be some kind of static discharge.
Fishy
Never had it happen to myself, what surface are you using it on? What clothes are you wearing as you carry it around? Ployester or something like that which will build up the charge?
Not that I make a habit of wearing polyester :) Actually, you may have hit on a point, as it happens when I am using the tablet laying on my bed, and I have a fleece type things on top of the bed to stop my cat from doing too much damage...I havent noticed it when I use it at desk at home or at work, so you may well be right there...I will keep monitoring to see if it continues....though an getting quite used to this electro shock therapy...:)
thanks for all your posts and advice....
