I got the same problem !
The french image is corrupted.
The only solution is to use a external USB CDROM.
Then you will need to start Windows in Recovery mode and make a "fsck /F" to correct the partition.
Hello !
I've recently bought a Compaq Tc1000. What an amazing computer ! [thumbsup]
I've tried to install the french version of Windows Xp Tablet Edition with the Restore System Recovery CD provided by HP/Compaq.
I've set a DHCP/TFTP server on my linux box. It's ok ! The Tablet PC boots and starts the recovery. The french CD set is composed of 2 CD, and not 3 as the English CD set. The installation failed at the beginning of the second CD with this error message :
'Error #1802 : Image file is invalid or corrupted'
I've checked everything. the 2 files 'factory.pqi' and 'factory.002' are in the restore directory. Is somebody could help me !? [cry]
I don't have a external CDROM on USB..! :(
Thank you by advance,
Regards,
