I dont have a Fujitsu (Motion M1300), but I recommend Tom Bihn bags as the overall best for Tablet protection and transport. Get a Braincell or Monolith as a sleeve, and get one of their bags to put it in (depending on what size you want). The sleeves snap in for convenience.
I personally have a sleeve from Willow Designs and bag from Timbuk2. For the Motion I found the Iwhumph sleeve to fit the best and function as a shoulder bag. The Timbuk2 is really rugged and pretty water proof. This was going through painstaking measurements of interior fits over every bag maker I could find.

Hey, I have an M1300 on its way to me and I was thinking of the Timbuk2 Detour bag because the option to use it as a backpack seemed nice.
Which model you (and Trev)use, and how do you like it?

    Thanks,
    Pete

I use a traditional messanger bag, dee dog (large size). I think Mal bought a detour but returned it because it was too small for his needs. It fit the tablet fine, but he wanted to carry other stuff. That is if memory serves me right, better to let him answer.

Trev is almost correct. I had the Detour, sent it back to get the Bolo, and then went and got the Detour again!
Now I keep the Willow Designs Iwhumph inside my Detour inside my Bolo. If I dont need to carry more than my tablet, keyboard and a couple books, I use the Detour. If I have to carry an additional book or lunch, I need to throw everything in the Bolo.
Honestly I should have taken Trevs advice and just gotten the Dee Dog instead of Bolo, as the Bolo is HUGE. But I really do like the padded laptop compartment, and padded backing of the Detour. Backpack straps may come in handy as well if I need to ride a bike. Timbuk2 makes really rugged, waterproof construction bags (water can potentially get in through under the flap, but not through the fabric).
As for getting a sleeve, I looked up your tablets specs and have to recommend Willow designs. The Braincells are great, but the measurements on either the Iwhumph or Sylph are perfect. Someone mentioned that the Braincell would collapse if you packed a bag with books. The Iwhumph I have wouldnt. It has ridged plastic side walls, and thick padding. Iwhumph has a small pocket in the front that holds my mouse, spare battery and Virtually Indestructible Keyboard. I cant carry a book with it, but a small pad fits in the back pouch. If I dont need to carry a textbook with me (lectures), I just use the Iwhumph. Honestly, check out these links before buying your sleeve.

NOT the infocase... it sucks. TOO Much holding and attaching. You CAN'T use a convertible whiel it's in the case... useless that way.

I LOVE my old Targus backpack laptop case (don't know the name) but it's very nice. Unfortunately I can't use a backpack at work.

timbuk2 bags are rediculously waterproof. If your bag is closed, your stuff will not get wet. I can walk around in pouring rain without worrying about my tablet at all, and yes I have done it. I don't even bother with umbrellas anymore.

Mal, your solution sounds very expensive, but effective.

Would the Detour work well for carrying the tablet if I didnt have a seperate sleeve for it?
I plan on carrying the tablet, one of those small composition notebooks, and 2 smaller text books on my busiest day.

Would that fit in the Detour, or would the Commute be better? I Like them both.
    Thanks for the opinions )
