Pen Bleeding = when you have ink on the screen that you didn't intend.

This would be like having a leaking physical pen, or one that oozes too much ink and that ink "bleeds" or spreads on the paper.

    jep.

the cursor is jitterig around and writing or clicking even when you don't touch the screen with the pen unless you lift it more than an inch or more. most people never have pen bleed, but unfortunately many do have it. often it's just the battery of the pen. if not, compaq usually gives you a new pen..
however, let's hope we'll never have to experience that..

sometime life can be ironic. when i was facing problem that the pen wouldn't 'ink'.. and required me to press the tip hard on screen in order to write... on the other hand, some one got a pen that just won't stop 'inking'..

More importantly, if you don't know what pen bleeding is, you're not having the problem. I *GUARANTEE* you will know it if it happens. In my experience, HP has been wonderful about replacing pens that bleed (next day U.S.A. delivery). I'm on my 3rd pen, but it has been rock-solid for months.

HP replaced my pen last week. I called and said that with a new battery and tip, the pen continued to write when lifted off the glass. I recalibrated and it did not help. 5 minutes or the phone and the pen was in my mailbox in 2 days
