How expandable is the new convertable from Fujitsu? Can you just open it up and add conventional DDR SDRAM? Or is it a special type of DDR SDRAM you can only get from Fujitsu? How about HD's? Can you add a second one?

On to your question though, you really should look at the manual. It's downloadable from www.fujitsupc.com (and click support). It's down right now, so I can't link it. But there are chapters about upgrading there. I think you can upgrade it with whatever ram of resonable quality that fits the specifications. But I doubt you can add a second hd, or even upgrade yourself (I couldn't find a hdd cover in the specs...)
i also think that adding a second hard disk seems impossible . Unless you are talking about USB harddisk. It would be easier if you customize before purchase..
You'd need SODIMM DDR266 CL2.5 blah blah blah. If you find a model selector then it's the same RAM as the Acer C11x series. Crucial sells it at a very reasonable price. Here's a link. http://www.crucial.com/store/listpar...ries&submit=Go . But it can also be found cheaper if you shop around a bit.
