You are correct, and I consider the lack of a print driver one of the biggest weaknesses in OneNote.
Can someone confirm that it is not possible to import a pdf to onenote and mark it up like in Journal? I guess you could mark it up in Journal and then cut and paste into Onenote?

Yes, that is correct. The only things you can import into OneNote are images. You could like you say, mark it up in Journal then copy it to OneNote, but it would only show up as an image in OneNote.

Thanks the confirmation. There's no way then that Onenote will be of use to me. Mostly for classes I'm marking up 50+ page pdf files while adding in new pages as needed for notes. Too bad.

Please note that the final version of OneNote will be significantly different from the Beta, even after the refresh. Check it out once it is actually released.

Can't images be dragged directly into OneNote from multiple apps?
I thought this was supposed to be a big selling point of OneNote. I have not Beta-tested but was interested in OneNote for this particular feature.
