I tried defrag my C drive on my tc1000 but i get

I tried defrag my C drive on my tc1000 but i get a message that i need to resolve inconsistentcies with chkdisk or scandisk. There is no scandisk command on XP and I tried the chkdisk command and nothing was resolved. Any way to get around this to defrag my Hard drive??? thanks

Go the My Computer, hightlight your drive, click properties and tools and you will find Check Disk, Defrag and Backup.
