My ST5032 is hot. It doesn't burn, but in hot weather it's uncomfortable against my skin.
That's not surprising - think about holding a 60W light bulb.
I just got a ST5030D.
When I am using it updating all the programs, the tablet is REALLY HOT on the bottom.
Do any of you guys have similar experience?
Anything wrong? I still have one year warranty on it....

No, it's not normal... My cooling fan stopped working and Fujitsu had to put in a new fan. The bottom of the laptop was too hot to touch...
Ah, yes. I made sure to check that the fan runs both in the provided XP and Linux, which is what I boot natively now.
Then it's not too hot, as I mentioned.
