Speedstep XP still reports my CPU as being throttled on my new 1300.

When I have all power mgmt off, and I press 'detect max speed' in succession, the numbers flucuate substantially.

I first started noticing it, when drawing in flash. The cpu power drops for the foreground app (?) - and the pen tracking slows down enough to be irritating.

My only guess, is that speedstepxp dosen't properly support the centrino chipset.

Argh! I wish there was a way to disable speedstep in the bios!
