I'm still going with a TimBuk2 Dee Dog and a Tom Bihn Braincell. It's a good bag but it looks horrible.
OK...I know I have ranted and raved and tried every laptop bag under the sun, but I have finally found the perfect bag for my tablet...It is called the Teddy Jr and is available at http://www.caseclosedbags.com
It is a black leather messenger bag with a weather-proof cushioned zipper compartment for the tablet pc (or very small laptop). There is an additional compartment for some carry-along items and it fits notebook paper size odds and ends (they have a larger size too). But for me this is PERFECT.
AND...I have never had a bag as soft as this...the leather is so soft it feels like an old comfortable pillow tucked under your arm.
SO...I am finally coming off of my "no good cases" available soap box and recommending this bag. AND you can use it as a pillow if you are stuck in the airport. ;)

I have somewhere in the range of ten different computer bags, ranging from roller cases to slim cases, but I bought a case from Costco for $40.00 that has worked out best for me for transporting my Toshiba 3505 Tablet PC. The bag offers both messenger and backpack straps (both removable and reconfigurable) and has a pass-through on back to attach it to a roller case when I travel. The case seems fairly indestructible and has plenty of expansion for files, PDA, etc. Check out the manufacturer's link below. While this case may not be for everybody, I have eschewed other cases in my collection (some much more expensive) for this case.:D

yeah, I've seen that -- I have a booqbag backpack which I love when I need to take everything with me -- but I had specific criteria of having looked for a bag that was small, good looking, extra protective of the tablet, and light. Teddy Jr did it!
If it weren't for the $239, I'd consider it.
Sigh being poor sucks.
Holy Psycho-Tropic Drugs! You have expensive taste;)quote:Originally posted by ron@baumanis.net

Teddy Jr. Black Leather

Price: $239.00
Quantity in Basket: none
I dunno...considering the Franklin portfolio is 150 bucks and doesn't even hold the tablet properly, to me, a full-leather quality bag like this doesn't seem all that expensive for something that is, essentially, a piece of daily clothing...how much do we spend on a nice suit or shoes?...
I could get a very nice tailored suit for that amount of money. My dinner suit and calf leather good shoes cost as much as that bag (ok a tiny bit more). $239, you must be out of your head. Not only is the bag ugly but it doesn't look like it could store that much except your TPC. Just my opinion though. If you really like it and have the money, go for it.
I'm assuming it's not a Saville Row suit
I bought a leather portfolio at Office Max for $15 and customized it to fit my C110 perfectly. [thumbsup]
