The one offered by Motion does. There are some that would pull off the USB port, but that will seriously impact battery life.
If you just want to watch movies, check out www.dvddecrypter.com. Rip movies you own to the HDD for your personal use.
Does the external optical drive require AC power?
I will be flying a lot soon and it would be nice to make
use of it on a plane.

If though you are intent on using an external drive (HDD space or the like), check out http://www.freecom.com and look at the Traveller II+ series, it has an adaptor to run a drive off power from the PCMCIA slot while using USB for data. Notice the drives are ultra-portable and that the price of a better drive, say a combo versus a DVD-ROM is not much at all (€40 which is about $46 or £28). If you shop around you'll find them even cheaper.

thanks a lot guys.
When I think about it, there really isn't much need to keep a drive on me accept
to make a burn for people. I'll just go with the 60GB harddrive for extra space, then perhaps find a dvdrw for my car.
