Mono "in" for dictation, "stereo" out for your listening pleasure.quote:Originally posted by drfrank
I'm having trouble believing Acer's website. Is the line in on the C110 actually mono?

Damn, that's lame.
But thanks for the info.

It doesn't bother me. What kind of decent sound could you expect to get out of any miniscule speaker and sound card wedged into a Tablet or notebook? Even if it was quadraphonic with surround sound it would be pale in comparison.quote:Originally posted by drfrank

You can always buy a good set of headphones. I have an IR set I picked up at Radioshack.

Well, yeah, the headphones fix the problem of getting good sound out of the notebook, but that's not the problem I'm trying to solve. I want to get stereo in to the device. It's pretty silly that I'll have to buy a usb sound card to do that.quote:Originally posted by digitaldoc

Ah, that is a problem. Obviously you could transfer from another pc too, but you probably want to produce, store and analyze on the TPC.
