Just a guess but you may be low on system resources. I assume you have only 256 or Ram. You could check in the windows task manager under performance when you have a ll your applications opened.
I'm an animator, and when I draw onscreen there is a significant delay as the pc tries to keep up. I also own a Wacom Cintiq 15x(tablet monitor) which doesn't have the delay issue. So my questions are:
Does everyone have this delay?
Is the speed improved or worse in Linux?
Because the tablet portion of the hardware is built by Wacom I'm curious about where the problem lies. Is the delay because the hardware is slow(which I doubt) or is it something to do with the drivers?
Is it possible to use/hack the existing wacom drivers to support the travelmate's tablet? There are a ton of really nice features of the Wacom drivers that I'd like to use with my Travelmate.
Thanks,
Chris

While I don’t draw on my Tablet for a living, I have noticed the occasional delay in the pen. When this occurs I have noticed disk activity. The delay I am talking about is long enough to write a couple of characters, have the system not draw them, I draw them again, and then the system catches up. This results in a blob that I need to erase. I have the C110 with 512 memory. This has happened a few times this week.

The exact behavior that bugs me is if I'm drawing in Macromedia flash, there is a good couple seconds where the cursor stutters something fierce, then finally gets rolling with a slight delay. This happens every time I put the pen to the tablet in Flash. This doesn't happen if I'm using the mouse.
Perhaps Flash is having problems with the tablet?
