Default Tablet Ron? Or Calling all tablet super heros for tc4200 support

To all the super heroes with keyboards and caffeine drinks!

The following issue has happened, we purchased a unit with a bios password. tc4200

The following items were done with no external power or battery connected-- Disassembled the entire thing just to find and pull out the cmos battery and left it out for about 12 hours.
During 12 hour period with rtc battery out- turned power switch on to dissapate capacitors.
Reassembled unit booted and admin password was still there
tried flashing bios and it appeared to brick. Possible bad floppy drive (usb) Used windows key +B for turning on external drive to flash bios.
The brick has been recovered but now has a bios / admin password still.
We have tried the compaq bios backdoor password, but we weren't sure that was the correct one.
We will be trying a different floppy drive to flash bios in the near future.
However, does anyone know any other recovery bios passwords or tricks to try?

PS - It did run linux from usb thumbdrive.

We managed to get the one password cleared- it may have had a disklockout on- Hubby is the man! anyway it boots to xp now so all is good. Mainly, flashed the bios with a quirky usb floppy drive so that was the issue. The floppy disk drive would freeze
