Thread: Motion LE1700 and going beyond 3gb of memory when 4gb is installed

  1. Default Motion LE1700 and going beyond 3gb of memory when 4gb is installed

Anyone know if there have been any solutions that allows the LE1700 to actually use more than 2.99 when 4gb is installed? I have searched but found nothing that suggests it can be done.

What version of Windows are you running? You'll need to run something 64bit to have access to more than 3GB.

I am running 32 bit only because there are no 64 bit drivers for the LE1700. Unless of there is some way to work around this?

Iirc, it won't allocate more total ram. What it will do is allow you to dedicate more than the current 2 gb ram per program maximum to each program, so that if you want, say, 3 gb to use with ps or something else it will let you. I thought there were some guides / threads about how to achieve this, built I'm bit so sure. I never did it.
