If it is there you might have to reinstall the driver for the wireless card.
Does that model have the Qmenu program?
Okay for those who know the saga the tc4400 is probably destined to be a parts machine. So we ebay and purchase a tc4200, which boots right out of the box YAY! Small issue- the wifi won't turn on- the button on the side does not turn on the wifi, we have looked at the device manager and also made sure it was set to wireless on. This gave us the it won't be on unless you hit the side button message. So, do you think someone disabled the hkey or deleted it from the registry. WE still have on the xp it came with- wondering if modifying it with our own boot disc would help. Or is this a hardware issue with the button? How can we tell?
Ah, well at least we have LAN. (frowns at cord)

HP Compaq TC1100 | Intel Pentium M 1.2Ghz | 2 GB PC2700-333Mhz | NVIDIA 420 Go 32MB | 120GB HDD | Broadcom BCM43222 wireless N card| Windows 7 Ultimate x86
Q menu didn't have the same options as the 1100. I checked & it didn't have the turn on wife-I opened the Q menu defaults and nope not there
the device manager shows it as there and the wife networks shows it as turn on or off but the message is abort side hard buttons which doesn't do a thing. Can I reconfigure another button to be the wife on off? I'll try the drivers first a maybe start a check list. Maybe re-seating the card itself I hate to waste your time over these little things

Not wasting my time. i like helping out if I can. Before redoing the driver maybe take out the wifi card and reboot. Then shut down and install the card and boot up and load the driver.
