I am fairly new to the concept of tablet pcs and could use some expert help.

I am a Studio Art major and have plans to go into animation after I graduate, so I would really appreciate a tablet pc that I could create my artwork on. Also, it would be wonderful if it could access the Internet via wifi and came with some sort of typing apparatus so that I could take notes during classes. That being said, an affordable convertable tablet pc would be ideal, though this is just a hope. Also, pressure sensitivity and the ability to download freeware such as Gimp would be a definite need.

My budget for this device would be around $700.

I am uncertain as to what the memory should be, though I would suggest whatever would be useful for a 2-D animator and comic creator.

If you could help me with this problem, I would sincerely appreciate it.
