    Default Ideal tablet?

    Which tablet meets these criteria:?

    1. Stylus (or fugetaboutit)
    2. Great viewing angles.
    3. Instant-on (or at least wakes up fast).
    4. Full OS (windows 7, 8 etc)
    5. Good battery life
    6. keyboard (detachable or not)
    7. Not too heavy

Basically I like the physical features of an ipad (battery life, instant on), but I want a stylus and real applications.

    Any Suggestions are much appreciated.

It really depends on how much power you need. There are a few netbook class slates based on the Atom OakTrail processors that fit your criteria - the Fujitsu Q550 and the Motion CL900. There's also the HP slate, but the lower resolution may be less ideal as running that full OS on 1024x600 can get cramped. These are all slates with n-trig digital pens, good viewing angles (the HP slate maybe not as much), decent resume times as they all have SSDs, battery life of 7-8 hours (the HP slate is a little less around 5), they all have bluetooth for pairing up a keyboard, and they're all under 2lbs except for the Motion which comes in just over at 2.2 I think.

If you need more power, the Samsung Series 7 slate also fits the bill, but will run much warmer and with much more fan noise (the oaktrails are fanless). The battery life is a little less, due to the core i5 processor in it, but most reviews are coming in at least 5-6 hours, 4 in video playback rundowns.

All of these will run a little thicker and heavier than an iPad, and none will reach the 10 hours of battery life, but they're getting closer.

CES is next week. Hopefully, we'll see new tablet pcs (and not just tablets).

I would love to see a modern rendition of the Toshiba M200 size (but thinner), good battery life, OLED screen, digitizer and touch, full Windows 8, and instant on would be nice. Oh, and not too expensive :P
    Currently using a Motion M1400

The Fujitsu t2010 has great battery life. If someone could only figure out how to make the fan quiet.
