I am typing this on an x41 IBM tablet PC

You can find these on your local www.kijiji.com or www.kijiji.ca websites for about 200$ or less.

For that you get:

IBM build quality
Ultra portable
Keyboard (short cut keys galore)
WACOM pen <--------------- yes you heard right
replaceable pens cost 80$ or much much less. (i'm getting 3 for 50$ from a specialty shop)
a laptop
A slate tablet when you want.
You prevent a laptop from going to the dump.

appears to me he was just informing of an opportunity. Perhaps not in the right category, but why so harsh? Maybe you don't care- is your world so solipsistic that because you don't care everyone else must not either?
