I don't know how many others have this glitch- but every time I world would undock in portrait mode, my tc1000 would drop the resolution down to 640 x 480.


The solution? I installed the Compaq Quick Lookup Utility which flashed the bios and solved the problem!

I finally get to use my TC1000 the way I always wanted to - with quick undocking in portrait mode!

You are right, I just tested my tablet and it didn't freak out like usual. Good find whershfeld.

I had a problem with my resolution remained the same when i undocked, but i was only able to see part of the screen, so i had a real resolution of 640x480 and a virtual resolution of 1024x768. The way to sort it out was to click the rotate screen button twice. But this bug just stopped happening after a while, not sure what caused it, or fixed it. However i have since reinstalled the OS, and not had any problems so far.
