I noticed on Dabs the price of the docking station has dropped from about £300 to £220. I am considering getting one for use at work. I would probably go on using my desktop machine for development as it is a P4 1.5 and is considerably speedier than the tablet.

Has anyone used or can reccommend a KVM switch for use with the docking station so I can swap between the desktop machine and the tablet extended desktop with the same keyboard, mouse and monitor?

I use a Sony 21" CRT + USB Optical mouse and a PS/2 Keyboard. Therefore I would like a KVM that supports USB. It wouldn't matter if I needed to switch to a USB keyboard as well.

Does the docking station come with its own power supply or do I need to use the power adaptor that came with the tablet? It would be quite nice to leave the accessories at home and just carry the tablet as a slate to plug into a keyboard attached to the docking station.

Edit: spelling corrected. Thanks for the replies regarding the power supply.

I already have a cd-rom/dvd drive as I bought the Sony MPDAP20U but it would be a shame to let the multibay slot go unused. I know theres an additional hard disc for it available as well, does anyone use this?
