can you replace input panel keyboard with the on-screen keyboard?

I was wondering if you can replace the input panel keyboard with the on-screen keyboard? At first I thought they were the same keyboard but the on-screen keyboard is so much better in every way. Right now, I've pinned the on-screen keyboard to the taskbar but I'd also like it to be the default keyboard in the input panel.

doubt it, but you might be able to do a registry hack..
the problem is that it doesn't do inking..

i do the same on my motion le1600.the osk is much
more responsive than the tip.
