Default I have a wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse se

I have a wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse setup on the docking station. Several times per day either the mouse and/or keyboard will disconnect. Is this related to the usb 2.0 driver and if so, how do you disable it. It is becoming frustrating to go into standby in order to restore the connection 5 and 6 times each day.

    Thanks,[cry]

You could go into the "Device Manager," and properties of your USB devices, but finding the cause would be better:-)

You need to undock the tablet and then open the Device Manager. Control Manager > System >Hardware > Device Manager. Under Universal Serial Bus Controllers you want to disable "NEC PCI to USB Enhanced Host Controller (B1)" After doing this you get a message when ever you dock the tablet about highspeed devices. Only a little message above the task bar, like you get after installing new hardware.

Have you tried the latest CMS update. This seemed to have fixed the problem for some people, however i think other people using the logitech wireless keyboard and mouse are experiences problems. Probably worth contacting Compaq if the CMS update does not fix it.

I just got my docking station today - and I'm having the exact same problem with my wireless logitech keyboard/mouse. There's nothing more frustrating! It worked fine when plugged directly into the tablet... but not in the docking station

I upgraded the CMS, which seems to have cut down how often it happens, but it still happens...

If anyone out there has a fix, PLEASE post it.

(disregard my previous message about the dock; the problem lay elsewhere).

Well, I have exactly the same problems, with an I-touch cordless keyboard and a MX700 cordless mouse.

Now, in order to diable the USB2, you should go to system properties and disable the NEC PCI to USB (B1) driver.

    Indeed, nothing else helps.

I think this is addressed in the latest CMS upgrade. I have the Logictech cordless elite duo, and it's been flawless since I installed the latest patch.

the other thing to do, or course is to disable

NEC PCI to USB Enhanced Host Controller (B1)

Which is annoying as it gives you the "USB2 Device plughges into a USB port" warning...

There is a patch available to the Tablet PC Transmeta Crusoe Code Morphing Software Upgrade. This will fix your problem.

Well, as a matter of fact, it does not solve the problem (and I am not the only one to experience it, see the discussion on the latest patch.

I hae installed the latest CMS update, but still sometimes get the problem of my keyboard and mouse getting dropped. Quite odd, as other USB devices remain connected.
