Dell has just posted (01 Dec 10) an updated version of the Texas Instruments TUSB3410 USB to Serial Controller driver, Version 6.5.9011.0, A03. The download link does not work yet, but I assume that it will be enabled by tomorrow.

Note that this update may be helpful in reducing start-up problems.
