I've asked the same question in another thread. No response from anyone yet.
Interested to hear from those using Outlook 2003 Beta, how well it works with ink, if at all? If it does, would it appear Franklin TabletPlanner will soon become obsolete?
I'm using TabletPlanner and find it to be the best of the ink aware applications so far. However, Outlook being more of a standard, would probably be the better choice when it too becomes ink aware.
I've ordered Outlook 2003 Beta and am wondering whether to get my hopes up or not...

I'm very impressed with the inking ability of Outlook 2003 so far. It is still in beta so there are still a few bugs with it, but overall it works pretty well. It still isn't as complete in inking abilities as TabletPlanner is, as it is still an application for non-tablet computers as well. As such Inking functionality is still secondary with Outlook 2003, while TabletPlanner ink is the main input technology.

I've got the Outlook 2003 Beta as well, and I have not found any way to use ink like I can with the Word and Excel 2003 Betas... What am I missing?quote:Originally posted by Spencer

For someone who uses their tablet mainly outside of a corporate network, ink has pretty much become useless to me since I can't guarantee message recipients have ink-enabled email clients. I guess it would be nice to have an option to convert the ink into some sort of html based message that more people are able to see...
