already getting one.... I took a look at the auction, it's intresting, but im going to wait..
cause if these units are limited by the controller, then it's no use in isntalling new cells..

unless I can find a way to reset the controller pcb.

well it seems the controller is the big issue, still playing with it.

The LE1600 and LE1700 both use the same batteries. There are several listed on eBay, though not always new, but can get you started.
