I have seen this question posed but I have not seen a real answer: will I be able to edit a word document using the tablet mode/pen and have the handwritten additions show up when I print the document?

Yes, you will be able to do this. Using Office XP (w/ Tablet Pack Installed), or Office 2003 beta this should work.

If you want to actually change the text, the changes appear as text. You can insert an ink box, to and format its properties to appear above the text (almost like a layer).

Then the handwriting will appear on the printed document as if you had written it there yourself.
