[Modding] TC1100 adding a capacitive multitouch

My TC1100 in on the way to arrive to me ;)

Meanwhile, wish to know

Is there a way to replace it's screen for to add the Multitouch feature ??

Do you know if Wacom produce a screen like the one in HP TM2 to adapt to TC1100 ??

I found too this company that states to be able to add multitouch to all notebook, netbook and pad tablet and seems interesting But I'm afraid to loose the primary Stylus Pen use this way...

I would love to have the both "worlds" in my TC1100 !

That would be quite the mod if possible.
I wouldn't think it is possible.

It would be even harder to retain the pen use.
To retain the pen use, you'd need a Dual Digitizer that does Touch and Pen like the TabletKiosk Sahara i440D Dual Mode Digi/Touch Screen Tablet.

I googled TC1100 Touch Screen and didnt get much. Just people erroneously calling the Active Digitizer on the 1100 a "Touch Screen".

Anyway, seems to me that the screen of the HP TM2 does the 2 things ( pen + finger multitouch ) .. Am I wrong ??

If yes, I think the task would be to find a screen like this that fits in the TC1100 and then with W7 support install these drivers ....

It has a Wacom Active Digitizer ... so works well with a pen.
and Capacitive for Touch.

The video didn't show pen performance with your hand on the screen. I suspect that the active digitizer would have no problem with natural handwriting on the unit.

This is the reason why I mentioned TM2 in the 1st post !

I believe, that once we know the Brand/model of screen/digitizer/touch used in TM2 we can make a research to find a kind of similar device to fit in our TC1100 !!
Maybe, this could be the more easy workaround

Unluckly, TM2 device screen isn't 10.4" ....... and din't fit ...
