Found the solution and its very EASY.
I just burnt the XP CD's onto DVD's and it reads like normal.
Now I have my M1300 back working like the 1st I recieved it.
Any one shed some light to me?
My original 20G from M1200 clicked and died. I have replaced it with a 160G and tried numerous smaller and different brands. Memory is maxed out at 1G. I have tried two optical drives, USB powered from Toshiba and AC powered generic IDE to USB and they all do the same thing.
Windows 7 Boots fine and installs. Intel 855 video issue
Vista Boots fine and installs. Intel 855 video driving me nutts
XP tablet edition is my choice but does note boot from CD. The is confirmed bootable, tried it on my Toshiba M200 and Toshiba Portege 3500 "P3 1.3ghz also"
The later Windows installs but video is the issue, XP is much faster and also has the motion dash which I need to use.
