Stylistic LT P-600 Wifi card issues

Hello, I am having issues with my pcmcia card slot. I was wondering if anyone could help.
It is a WPC54g linksys wifi card. It works on my other laptop perfectly. The problem I am having is that my Fujitsu LT P-600 won't power it on. It was working kinda before when I had Win2000 installed(actually it wasn't, it would only power on.). I would have to jam it in and wiggle it around to get it to power on. Now, I installed xp and it won't work. It did power on for a second but now it won't. All the pins inside the port seem to be in good shape. Has anyone else had this problem?

Still internet less, no ethernet port on the LT

well, it may not help you,
but i'm getting a pcmcia card with the network jack,

or you buy an external dock which has that also.

woohoo!!! i'm posting this from my p-600!!!
i got the pcmcia /network card for cheap,
and it works like a charm from windows XP tablet..

now i need to figure out a way to rotate the disply
90 degrees, the 800x600 is ok, but still kind of tiny
to read on...(ok, i found a really cool free utility,
its called irotate, that does the job very well!)

also, my internet explorer is broken.
i installed firefox 1.5, and now i'm downloading
internet explorer 7, so i can use that instead..
