During this past week, Dell announced through a spokesman that a series of updates have been issued to address some or most of the various N-trig DuoSense digitizer issues that XT users have been complaining about since the XT was issued last year.

According to the spokesman, writing in a personal blog, the fixes include a Video Driver update, issued in December of last year, an iTunes Driver update, issued last week, and an updated N-trig software bundle, due to be issued soon. Interestingly, not mentioned was a Chipset Driver update, issued in early January (my perception is that this update also fixed some problems).

Just to make things even more interesting, the complete set of XT2 drivers has now appeared on the Dell support site ( www.support.dell.com ), and the N-trig Drivers are of more recent issue than the current (but not yet updated) XT drivers... Obviously, the XT2 itself cannot be too far behind...!

IMO, XT owners should install the Video, Chipset and N-trig updates as soon as possible. Obviously, if you have and use iTunes, you'll want to do that driver, as well...
