Extended Battery for M1400? What is it?

I just received my M1400 Tablet and as much as I like it, it arrived with a dated battery with a very short life of about 45 minutes. I keep reading about an extended battery option. What is that all about? If I order a new battery replacement, is there an "extended" type I should look for or does this mean the tablet allows for 2 batteries to be installed???? I'm confuzzled!! Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I don't recall that there has ever been an extended battery for the M1400.

But you can get an generic external battery if you need to be relatively portable for a longer time than the internal battery allows.
