I recently bought a Fujitsu Stylistic 2300 off Ebay. It is in good working and cosmetic condition with the major problem of NO HARDDRIVE. I took a 2 gig HD (with 98SE) from an old Toshiba I had laying around, loaded the drivers onto the HD via external HD caddy and plugged it into my 2300. The 2300 loads 98SE but I have lost pen ability, my USB, PCMCIA are inoperable. I realize now that the HD is configured to my old Toshiba and thus I am unable to access all features of 2300. I need help with this major issue. Any suggestions.

format the harddrive, and install something like XP, Vista or Windows7. I recommend Win7 for better touch abilities.

Im not even sure that 98SE supports tablets - Windows XP Tablet edition barely did

Fujitsu should have drivers still available for this in Win98 (if this helps--- the post is kind of old). You'll need PenOffice or RitePen for HWR though.

It's also possible to trick Windows 2000 into installing the drivers for the Compaq TC1000 (you have to disable the hardware and reboot just so) --- I had my 2300 running off a Compact Flash drive using an IDE adapter --- very cool.
